I wrote this song while walking down the most spectacular street in Sacramento. It runs through the heart of mid-town and ends at the state Capitol. In the song, I’m seeing friends along the avenue, enjoying the sunlight through the elms, and also reflecting on how I came to Sacramento. So much went into that decision. Which leads to the line: “And I know what I know.”
